Note: Always use special wrenches to loosen the nuts on the tubes, as the nuts are very tight and usually corroded, causing the edges of the nuts to become crushed when using regular wrenches.
Note: The work is shown on the example of the front hose. The rear hoses, which have a similar design, are replaced using almost the same techniques.
1. For ease of work, remove the front wheel on the side of the hose being replaced.
2. Pry it up with a screwdriver…
3. …and remove the clamp securing the hose to the bracket on the shock absorber strut…
4. …and remove the hose holder from the bracket.
5. Unscrew the tube fastening nut and disconnect the tube.
6. Remove the clamp that secures the hose to the bracket on the body by prying it up with a screwdriver.
Note: To prevent the fluid from completely leaking out of the hydraulic drive, immediately plug the tube opening using any available method. Protective caps of air release valves are very suitable for this purpose.
7. Remove the hose tip from the bracket hole on the body.
8. Unscrew the lower end of the hose from the caliper, holding the hose with a second key to prevent it from turning..
9. …and remove the hose.
10. Install the new hose in the reverse order of removal.
Attention! Make sure that the hose does not twist along the axis when installed.
11. Replace the remaining hoses in the same way.
12. After replacing the hoses, bleed the brake system (see "Bleeding the hydraulic brake system").
