You will need: 10 and 14 mm wrenches, a welding clamp with a lock, and a lug wrench.
1. Engage 1st gear and place chocks under the front wheels.
2. Remove the corresponding rear wheel.
3. Clean the brake hose attachment point and the working cylinder mounting bolts from dirt on the back side of the brake shield.
4. Remove the brake drum (see "Removal and installation the brake drum").
5. Remove the brake pads (see "Replacing the brake pads of the rear wheel brake mechanism").
Note: If you have some experience, you can leave the brake pads on. Raise the parking brake lever - the upper ends of the pads will move away from the piston stops.
6. Unscrew the brake pipe tip nut.
7. Plug the brake pipe by placing a protective cap on its tip (for example, by removing it from the air bleed valve) to prevent brake fluid from leaking from the hydraulic system when removing the slave cylinder.
8. Unscrew the bolts securing the working cylinder, holding the cylinder on the other side…
9. …and push the cylinder into the hole in the brake shield.
10. Install the slave cylinder in the reverse order of removal.
11. Install the brake pads (see "Replacing the brake pads of the rear wheel brake mechanism").
12. Install the brake drum (see "Removal and installation the brake drum").
13. Bleed the brake system (see "Bleeding the hydraulic brake system").
14. Press the brake pedal sharply several times to bring the brake shoes to the drum.
