You will need: a 7 mm wrench, a 10 mm socket head, pliers, and a flat-blade screwdriver.
1. Completely loosen the tension of the front parking brake cable by unscrewing and removing the lock nut from the threaded end of the cable and unscrewing the adjusting nut to the very end of the end, but do not unscrew the nut completely (see "Adjusting the parking brake drive").
2. Move back the lower end of cable 1 in equalizer 2 and, turning the cable downwards, remove its end from the equalizer. Squeezing the locks of the front stops of the rear cable casings with pliers, remove the stops from the bracket on the body.
3. Bend back the stops in the rear cable connectors…
4. …and, having moved the tips deep into the couplings, disconnect the cables from the couplings.
5. Press the left cable clamps with a screwdriver…
6. …and remove the cable from the bracket on the left rear suspension arm.
7. Remove the rubber cable holder from the bracket on the lower arm…
8. …from the plastic bracket on the floor panel and remove the cable.
9. Remove the right cable in a similar manner.
10. To replace the rear cable extension installed inside the rear wheel brake mechanism, remove the brake shoes of the mechanism (see "Replacing the brake pads of the rear wheel brake mechanism").
11. Press the fasteners with a screwdriver…
12. …and remove the cable holders from the brake shields.
13. Bend back the stops in the rear cable couplings, moving the ends deep into the couplings, and disconnect the rear cable extensions from the couplings.
14. Disconnect the cable extension end from the parking brake release lever…
15. …and, having pushed the holder into the hole in the brake shield, remove the rear cable extension.
16. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
17. Adjust the parking brake drive (see "Adjusting the parking brake drive").
