…special keys for brake pipes "11", "14", pliers.
USEFUL TIP: Always use special wrenches to loosen the nuts on the pipes, as the nuts are very tight and usually corroded, which is why the edges of the nuts are crushed when using regular wrenches.
NOTE: The work is shown on the example of the front hose. The rear hoses, which have a similar design, are replaced using the same techniques.
1. For ease of work, remove the front wheel on the side of the hose being replaced.
2. Remove the hose holder from the bracket on the shock absorber strut.
3. Loosen the tube mounting nut while holding the upper end of the hose from turning…
4. …and disconnect the tube.
HELPFUL TIP: To prevent the fluid from completely leaking out of the hydraulic drive, immediately plug the tube opening using any available method. Protective caps for air release valves are very suitable for this purpose.
5. Remove the locking clip from the upper end of the hose…
6. …and remove the hose tip from the bracket hole on the body.
7. Unscrew the lower end of the hose from the caliper…
8. …and remove the hose.
9. Install the new hose in the reverse order of removal.
WARNING: Make sure that the hose is not twisted along the axis when installed.
10. Replace the remaining hoses in the same way.
11. After replacing the hoses, bleed the air from the brake system (see "Bleeding the hydraulic brake system").
