Replacement of brake pipes

Connections of tubes with all units of the brake system and hoses, as well as the principles of their replacement, are the same. All tube nuts are turnkey «at 11».

NOTE: The work is shown on the example of a tube connecting the brake master cylinder to a hose attached to the left front wheel brake slave cylinder.

1. Remove the battery tray (cm. «Removal and installation of the shelf of fastening of the rechargeable battery»).



2. Turn away a nut of fastening of a tube to the main brake cylinder and disconnect a tube.



3. Turn away a nut of fastening of a tube to a brake hose, keeping the top tip of a hose from turning by the second key, and disconnect a tube.




4. Remove the tube from the retainer on the mudguard of the engine compartment..



5.... from the left..



6.... and the right holders on the bulkhead and remove it from the car.

7. Install the new tube in the reverse order of removal.

8. After replacing the tube, bleed the air from the brake system (cm. «Bleeding the hydraulic drive of the brake system»).
