Replacing brake pipes (Focus 2)

The connections of the tubes with all brake system units and hoses, as well as the principles of their replacement, are the same. All tube nuts are made for an 11 mm wrench.

NOTE: The work is shown using the example of the tube connecting the brake master cylinder to the hose attached to the left front wheel brake slave cylinder.

1. Remove the battery mounting shelf (see "Removing and installing the battery mounting shelf").

2. Loosen the nut securing the tube to the master brake cylinder and disconnect the tube.

7. Install the new tube in the reverse order of removal.
