Removal and installation of the shelf of fastening of the rechargeable battery

The battery mounting shelf is removed for replacement if it is damaged and to gain access to other vehicle components.

You will need a socket «on 10».

1. Remove the battery (cm. «Removing and installing the battery»).

2. Remove the engine control electronics (cm. «Removal and installation of the electronic engine control unit»).

3. Remove the air box grille and plenum plate (cm. «Removal and installation of the grille of the air supply box and the drain shield»).



4. Turn out three bolts of fastening of the shelf to a board of a bulkhead of a body …



5.... and remove the shelf.

6. Install the battery mounting shelf in the reverse order of removal.
