Removal and installation of the electronic engine control unit (Focus 2)

You will need: a 6 mm Allen key, a T25 TORX key.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Press the latch..



3. …and remove the engine control unit cover.



4. Remove the fastening screw…



5. …and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the engine control unit.





6. Remove the three mounting screws…



7. …and remove the engine control unit.

8. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
