Electronic control device
An electronic control unit located in the engine compartment above the right front wheel (near the coolant expansion tank) controls the exhaust gas recirculation valve and injection advance when the engine is cold and injection advance at low engine loads.
Crankshaft speed sensor
The crankshaft speed sensor is located on the generator and transmits information about the engine speed to the control electronic device.
Acceleration lever position sensor
The accelerator lever position sensor is a potentiometer with a linear resistance characteristic, installed on the axis of the accelerator lever near the fuel pump. It transmits a signal proportional to the angular position of the accelerator lever to the control electronic device.
Coolant temperature sensor
The thermistor coolant temperature sensor with a negative temperature coefficient of resistance is located in the thermostat housing. It transmits a signal proportional to the coolant temperature to the control electronic device.
Electromagnetic vacuum valve
The electromagnetic vacuum valve, controlled by the electronic control unit, makes it possible to supply a vacuum to the exhaust gas recirculation valve and is located in the engine compartment between the front bulkhead and above the left wheel.
Cold Engine Injection Advance Corrector
The electromagnetic cold engine injection advance corrector (see Fig. 2E.48) is located on the fuel pump and is controlled by the electronic control unit via the cold engine injection advance relay. Turning on the corrector's power supply causes a change in the injection advance. This corrector switches off when the engine warms up to normal temperature.

Cold Engine Injection Advance Relay
The cold engine injection advance relay, located in the fuse and relay box in the engine compartment, is controlled by an electronic control unit.
Injection advance corrector at low engine loads
The injection advance corrector at low engine loads (see Fig. 2E.49) is located on the fuel pump and is controlled directly by the electronic control device. Turning on the power supply of this corrector causes an increase in the fuel injection advance.
