Adjusting the accelerator lever cable
Press the accelerator pedal all the way down and check whether the acceleration lever (1, Fig. 2E.52) of the fuel pump is in the extreme position corresponding to the maximum fuel supply.

If this condition is not met, adjust the length of the accelerator lever cable sheath in the following manner.
Remove the cable sheath bracket from the bracket and adjust the sheath length so that the fuel pump acceleration lever can reach its extreme position.
Install the cable sheath bracket onto the bracket.
Adjusting the high idle speed cable
Attention: Adjustment is performed on a hot engine.
Using the clamp (7) of the high idle speed cable (8), adjust its tension so that it has a gap of 1-2 mm near the high idle speed lever.
