Removing and installing the battery

Withdrawal

Unscrew the nut and disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. Remove the plastic cover from the positive battery terminal, then unscrew the nut and remove the positive cable from the battery. Remove the 2 battery mounting bolts and remove the clip from the front of the battery.

Remove the battery from the stand. Clean the battery terminals and case.

Installation

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
