
1. Lift up the plastic battery cover…

2. …and take it off.

3. Unscrew the bolt securing the negative wire to the body ground.

4. Loosen the tightening nut of the clamping bolt of the ground wire end.

5. Unscrew the clamping bar fastening nut…

6. …and lift the bar up.

7. Remove the wire tip from the negative terminal of the battery.

8. Loosen the nut…

9. …and remove the wire tip from the positive terminal of the battery.

10. Open the wire holder…

11. …and move the "ground" wire to the side.

12. Press the latch..

13. …and remove the front battery cover.

14. Unscrew the clamping bar fastening nut…

15. …and take it off.

16. Remove the battery.
17. Install the battery in the reverse order of removal. Before connecting the wires, clean the battery terminals and the inner surfaces of the wire tips with fine-grained sandpaper. Connect the wires in the reverse order of removal, observing polarity. After connecting the wires to the battery terminals, apply a thin layer of Litol-24 grease or similar grease (copper-containing conductive greases are most preferable) to the metal wire tips and exposed surfaces of the terminals.
