1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.
2. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a reservoir of the hydraulic booster of a steering and move aside a reservoir aside.
3. Remove the generator outlet protective cap.
4. Turn away a fastening nut and disconnect a wire tip from an output of the generator, squeeze a clamp and disconnect block of a plait of wires from the generator.

5. Remove nut 3 (pic. 10.3) generator mounts.
6. Turn out the top bolt 1 of fastening of the generator and remove a protective guard 4.
7. Remove the accessory drive belt (cm. «Accessory drive belt replacement»).
8. Turn out the bottom bolt 5 of fastening of the generator, a hairpin 2 and take the generator from a motor compartment.
9. Install the alternator in the reverse order of removal, while replacing the auxiliary drive belt with a new one (cm. «Accessory drive belt replacement»).
