Removal and installation of the generator

Disconnect all electrical wires from the generator.

Remove the V-belt.

Unscrew the bracket mounting bolts and remove the generator.

The generator is installed in the reverse order.

The V-belt must be tensioned in such a way that under the pressure of the thumb it bends by 7-9 mm.

A damaged alternator is best replaced at a BOSCH specialist workshop with a remanufactured alternator that has a warranty.
