Removing and installing the generator (Fiesta 2)

Disconnect all electrical wires from the generator.

Remove the V-belt.

Unscrew the bracket mounting bolts and remove the generator.

The generator is installed in reverse order.

The V-belt must be tensioned so that when pressed with your thumb it bends by 7-9 mm.

Generator repair

It is best to replace a damaged generator in a specialized BOSCH workshop with a refurbished generator that has a warranty.
