Removing and installing the fuel tank filler pipe hatch lock (Focus 2)

You will need a flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Remove the fuel tank filler pipe cover assembly with the bracket (see "Removing and installing the fuel tank filler pipe cover").



2. To replace the lid lock, press the lock housing retainer…



3. …detach the casing from the cover bracket…



4. …and remove the lock from the casing.

5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
