Removal and installation the battery shelf bracket (Fusion)

The battery mounting shelf is removed for replacement if it is damaged and to gain access to other vehicle components.

You will need: 10 mm keys, TORX T25, 13 mm socket head.



1. Press the latch..



2. …and move the junction block aside.



3. Remove the three battery shelf mounting bolts.



4. Remove the two screws securing the electronic control unit…





5. … remove the ECU from the shelf bracket and move it to the side.



6. Remove the battery tray.



7. Remove the three mounting bolts…



8. …and remove the battery tray bracket.

9. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
