Note: To avoid injury and damage to vehicle parts, remove the hood with an assistant.
1. Open the hood and place it on the support.

2. Remove the windshield washer hoses from the holders on the hood…

3. …and disconnect them from both jets.

4. Using a screwdriver, press the fasteners, remove both windshield washer jets from the hood and install the parts on the new hood.
5. If you are removing the hood for purposes other than replacement, mark the position of its hinges relative to the body (for example, by tracing the hinges along the contour with a felt-tip pen).

6. Unscrew the two bolts securing the hood hinges to the engine compartment frame shelves and remove the hood.
7. Install the hood and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
