To remove the hood latch do the following.
1. Open the hood and place it on the stop.
2. Move the tip of the hood latch cable forward..
3.... and disconnect it from the lock lever.
4. Remove the tip of the cable sheath from the groove in the lock body.
5. Turn out two bolts of fastening of the lock of a cowl to a frame of a radiator …
6.... and remove the lock.
7. Install the hood latch in the reverse order of removal. Before installing the hood lock, lubricate its locking mechanism with grease, such as lithol.
8. If, after installation, the lock does not lock clearly or is difficult to unlock, adjust its position. Loosen the bolts of the lock and moving it vertically or horizontally within the holes of the radiator frame increased in diameter, achieve a clear operation.
To remove the hood latch do the following.
1. Open the hood and place it on the stop.
2. Turn out four bolts of fastening of a latch to the internal panel of a cowl..
3.... and remove the latch.
4. Establish a latch of the lock of a cowl in an order, the return to removal.
To remove the safety hook of the hood latch do the following.
1. Remove the hood latch (see above in this subsection).
2. Having pressed the safety hook spring with a screwdriver..
3.... remove the hook from the axle..
4.... and remove it from the hole in the radiator frame, pulling it forward in the direction of the car.
5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
To remove the hood latch do the following.
1. Open the hood and place it on the stop.
2. Move the tip of the hood latch cable forward..
3.... and disconnect it from the lock lever.
4. Remove the tip of the cable sheath from the groove in the lock body.
5. Fold down the air intake hood (see «Removal and installation of the air filter») …
6.... and remove the cable from under it.
7. Take a cable from two holders on a framework of a motor compartment.
8. In the car, remove the front lining of the left threshold (see «Removal and installation of facings of salon»).
9. Disconnect the block of the wiring harness from the body of the hood lock drive handle by pressing its lock with a screwdriver.
10. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the handle of a drive of a cowl to a body sidewall …
11.... and disconnect the handle from the sidewall by removing the lower handle housing lock from the hole in the sidewall.
12. Prying off the tip of the hood lock cable with a screwdriver..
13.... disconnect it from the drive handle.
14. Remove the cable from under one..
15.... and other holders on the handle, pushing the tip of the cable with a screwdriver, and remove the handle.
16. Remove the cable into the engine compartment, removing its seal from the hole in the bulkhead.
17. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
