Removal, installation and adjustment of the lock of a cowl

Withdrawal

1. Remove the grille (paragraph 7).

2. Release the cable and its sheath from the hood lock.

3. Mark the position of the lock on the cross member of the engine compartment. Then turn out the fixing nuts and remove the lock (see fig. 10.3).

Installation and adjustment

4. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. Install the lock according to the marks made during removal.

5. If the front of the hood is not parallel to the wings, then the lock can be moved up or down relative to its mounting holes. Raise or lower the rubber bumpers to support the hood after adjustment is complete.
