Removal


Front glass (with manual window lift)


1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the door interior trim panel (paragraph 11).

3. Remove the outside mirror (paragraph 16).

4. Temporarily install the window regulator handle onto the splines.

5. Lower the window until the window support bracket is visible through the holes in the inner door panel. Remove the window handle.
6. Carefully remove the moisture sealing strip from the outer edge of the door.

7. While supporting the glass, remove the bolts from its supporting bracket.

8. Lift the glass up and tilt it back, then remove it from the door.

Front glass (with electric window)


9. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

10. Remove the door interior trim panel (paragraph 11).

11. Remove the outside mirror (paragraph 16).

12. Temporarily connect the negative battery cable and the window switch. Lower the window until its support bracket and bolts are visible through the holes in the inner door panel (see Fig. 12.12).

Rear window (with manual window lift)


16. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

18. Temporarily install the window lift handle onto the splines.

19. Lower the window until the window carrier bracket is visible through the holes in the inner door panel. Remove the window handle.

20. While supporting the glass, remove the bolts from its supporting bracket.

21. Unscrew the screws and remove the ventilation grilles located on the rear door (see Fig. 12.21, a, b).

22. Carefully remove the moisture seal from the outer edge of the door.



23. With the help of an assistant, lift the glass and hold it close to the closed position.

24. Loosen (do not remove completely) the three window regulator mounting bolts. Then slide the top bolts to the right and push them out. Slide the bottom bolt up and push it out. Lower the window regulator assembly into the door.

25. Lower the glass inside the door until it is below the operating position of the window regulator, and move the glass to the outside of its guides.

26. Together with an assistant, lift the glass and pull it out of the door (see Fig. 12.26).

27. The procedure is performed in the same way as for a manual window lift, taking into account the difference in the window lift mechanisms.

Installation


All doors


28. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. It is necessary to correctly install the glass on its supporting bracket.
