Removing and installing the outside mirror (Mondeo 1 and 2)

Removal

1. On models with power mirrors, disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the cover, unscrew the screw and remove the pivot glass trim from the front of the window opening.

3. On models with manual mirror operation, disconnect the adjustment lever.

4. On models with electric mirrors, disconnect the electrical connector (see Fig. 16.4).



5. On all models, unscrew the mirror mounting screws. Then remove the mirror from the door (see Fig. 16.5,a,6). Remove the gasket.

Installation

6. Installation - in the reverse order of removal.
