Note: The left power outside mirror is shown being removed. The right mirror and both non-power mirrors are removed in the same way. The difference is that when removing non-power mirrors, there is no need to disconnect the wiring harness connectors, as they are missing.

1. Using a screwdriver, pry up the edge of the mirror control joystick…

2. …remove it from the corner decorative trim.

3. Using a screwdriver, press the lock of the wiring harness connector, disconnect it from the joystick and remove it.

4. Use a screwdriver to pry up the edge of the corner decorative trim…

5. …and remove it, overcoming the elastic resistance of its two holders and two clamps.

Note: This is how the corner trim holders and clips are located. Replace damaged holders.

6. Disconnect the outside mirror wiring harness connector.

7. Using a screwdriver, press the retainer of the mating part of the wiring harness connector…

8. …detach it from the holder.

9. Turn the top…

10. …and the lower bolts securing the mirror to the door panel.

11. Squeeze the tabs of the outside mirror support lock…

12. …and remove the mirror together with the sealing gasket.
Note: If the mirror has been removed for replacement, remove the sealing gasket from its base and reinstall it on the new mirror. Replace any torn or severely compressed gasket.
13. Install the outside mirror and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
