Note. Removal of the left external mirror with an electric drive is shown. The right mirror, as well as both mirrors without electric drive, are removed in the same way. The difference lies in the fact that when removing mirrors without electric drive, it is not necessary to disconnect the wiring harness blocks due to their absence.
1. Prying off the edge of the mirror control joystick with a screwdriver..
2.... remove it from the corner trim.
3. Using a screwdriver to depress the retainer of the wiring harness block, disconnect it from the joystick and remove it.
4. Use a screwdriver to pry off the edge of the corner trim..
5.... and remove it, overcoming the elastic resistance of its two holders and two clamps.
Note. This is how the holders and latches of the corner decorative trim are located. Replace damaged holders.
6. Disconnect the exterior mirror wiring harness connector.
7. Having pressed the retainer of the holder of the mating part of the wiring harness block with a screwdriver..
8.... disconnect it from the holder.
9. Turn out the top..
10.... and the lower bolts of the mirror to the door panel.
11. Squeeze the antennae of the retainer of the exterior mirror support..
12.... and remove the mirror along with the gasket.
Note. If the mirror was removed for replacement, remove the gasket from its base and place it on the new mirror. Replace a torn or severely compressed gasket.
13. Establish an external mirror and all removed details in an order, the return to removal.
