Removal and installation of a lattice of a box of an air inlet

The air box grille is removed when it is damaged or to gain access to the windshield wiper, as well as when replacing the windshield glass.

You will need a flat blade screwdriver.

1. Open the hood and place it on the stop.



2. Remove the levers from the axes of the wiper trapezoid leashes (see «Replacing Windshield Wiper Arms»).



3. On both sides of the grille of the air intake box, pull out the clips of the caps for fastening the two decorative trims, prying them with a screwdriver..



4.... and remove the caps.



5. Raise the rear edges of the pads..



6.... remove their protrusions from the grooves of the grille of the air intake box..



7.... and remove the lining.



8. Raising the edges of the grille of the air intake box, remove its latches from the holes on the body..



9.... and remove the grate.

10. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
