Removal and installation of an inlet collector

Withdrawal

Drain the coolant from the cooling system. Remove the carburetor. Mark and disconnect the coolant, vacuum and ventilation hoses from the manifold.



Disconnect the electrical connectors from the sensors in the intake manifold.

Unscrew bolts and remove a collector from a head of the block of cylinders Remove a lining.

Clean the mating surfaces of the intake manifold and cylinder head from traces of the old gasket.

Installation

Installation is done in sequence. reverse withdrawal. Install a new gasket and tighten the mounting bolts to the required torque.
