Weber TLD Carburetor Needle Valve and Float (Escort 5)

Removal and installation of the needle valve and float is carried out in the same way as on the Weber TLDM carburetor. The difference is that there is no need to remove the air damper control cable, since in the Weber TLD carburetor the control is carried out automatically using a bimetallic spring.

Clamp the coolant supply hoses to the carburetor and disconnect them from the automatic choke (see Fig. 4A.31).



When installing, connect the coolant supply hoses to the carburetor and add coolant if necessary.
