To remove the air filter do the following.

1. Loosen the clamp securing the air supply hose to the air filter…

2. …and disconnect the sleeve from the filter pipe.

NOTE: Please note that there are triangular marks on the air cleaner tube and on the edge of the air intake hose to help you install the hose correctly. When attaching the hose to the air cleaner, align these marks.

3. Loosen the clamp securing the air supply hose to the throttle assembly…

4. …and, having disconnected it from the throttle assembly pipe…

5. …remove the sleeve.
NOTE: We recommend removing the air supply hose for ease of operation. However, this is not necessary when removing the air filter.

6. Using a screwdriver, lift up the retainer of the mass air flow sensor wiring harness connector…

7. …and disconnect the connector from the sensor.

8. Pull the filter upwards, remove the mounting pins on its bottom from the two rubber cushions secured to the bracket, remove the rubber cushion of the bracket in the front part of the filter housing from the pin on the body, while simultaneously removing the filter inlet pipe from the intake silencer neck..

9...lift the filter, disconnect the engine crankcase ventilation system hose from the fitting on its body by squeezing the hose clamps, and remove the filter.

10. Replace hardened or damaged air filter mounting pads by removing them from the bracket holes.
11. Install the air filter in the reverse order of removal.

Intake noise muffler is installed in the niche of the left front wheel and is covered by a mudguard. In this photo and in the operational photos below in this subsection, the left front fender and front bumper have been removed for clarity. Despite the fact that access to the muffler mounting bolts is difficult, the fender and bumper do not need to be removed. To remove the intake noise muffler, do the following.
1. Remove the left front wheel and place the front of the vehicle on a secure support.
2. Remove the left front fender liner (see "Removing and installing wheel mudguards and fender liners").

3. Remove the front bolts…

4. …rear…

5. …and side mounts of the intake noise muffler…

6. …and remove the muffler by removing its neck from the air filter housing inlet pipe.
7. Install the intake silencer and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
