Removing and installing wheel mudguards and fender liners (Focus 2)

            0

The front and rear wheel arches are fitted with plastic mudguards that protect the body from the abrasive effects of sand and stones thrown up by the wheels. Mudguards mounted behind the front wheels protect the body sills. The rear mudguards protect cars following behind from damage by stones flying out from under the rear wheels.

You will need: TORX T25 and T30 keys, flat-head and Phillips-head screwdrivers.

NOTE: The work is shown for mudguards and fender liners on the left side of the car. The right mudguards and fender liners are removed and installed in the same way.

NOTE: Before removing mud flaps and fender liners, the corresponding wheel must first be removed.
