Removal and installation of a brake disk
Raise the front of the car on stands and remove the wheel from the desired side. Remove brake assembly. Loosen the screws securing the brake disc and remove it. Install the brake disc in the reverse order of removal.
Checking brake disc runout
Remove the wheel and screw the bolts of its fastening into the holes of the disc, placing spacers 19 mm long under them. Verify that play in the hub bearings will not affect the results of this test. Bring the leg of the pointer indicator to the working surface of the disk and check its axial runout, which should not exceed 0.15 mm.
Dismantling and assembly of the wheel cylinder
Remove the caliper, remove the protective cover (pic. 6.6) and using compressed air to push the piston, placing a wooden pad under it (pic. 6.7).
Remove sealing ring from cylinder (pic. 6.8).
Thoroughly clean all parts, install a new sealing ring in the cylinder groove, lubricating it with brake fluid. Install protective cover. lubricate with brake fluid and install the piston.
