Removing and installing the air filter and intake silencer

You will need: Flat and Phillips screwdrivers.

1. Remove the air filter element (refer to Replacing the Air Filter Element).



2. Loosen the clamp securing the inlet hose to the intake silencer pipe and remove the hose.



3. Loosen the clamp fastening the air supply sleeve to the nozzle of the throttle assembly..



4….and remove the hose.



5. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose tip from the filter housing by squeezing the clamps of its fastening..



6….and remove the air filter housing.



7. The intake silencer is mounted on the wall of the battery mount shelf. To remove it, remove the shelf (refer to Removing and Installing the Battery Shelf) and disconnect the muffler from it by unscrewing the screws of its fastening.

8. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
