Removal and installation of a forward wing

You will need: wrench and socket head «on 10».

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.



2. Remove mudguard..



3.... and front fender liner (see «Removal and installation of wheel mudguards and fender liner»).



4. Remove the side turn signal light (see «Replacement of a lateral lantern of the index of turn»).




5. Remove the front bumper (see «Removal and installation of the front bumper and its bar»).



6. Remove headlight (see «Headlight Replacement»).



7. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a wing to a framework of a motor compartment …



8.... and two bolts for fastening to the threshold.




9. Remove the vibration damping insert from the wing cavity.



10. From within a wing turn out a bolt of its fastening to a forward rack of a body.



11. Turn out forward and back bolts of the top fastening of a wing to a framework of a motor compartment, two bolts of fastening of a loop of a cowl to a body and remove a wing.

Note. Before unscrewing the hood hinge bolts, ask an assistant to hold the hood, and before removing the wing, lift it so that a gap is formed between the hinge and the wing, sufficient to remove the wing from the shelf of the engine compartment frame. After removing the wing, temporarily secure the hood hinge to the frame with at least one bolt.

Note. In the absence of an assistant, before removing the wing, you must first remove the hood (see «Removal and installation of a cowl»).

12. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
