Removal and installation of moldings and stickers (Mondeo 1 and 2)

Removal

1. Slide a strong thread or fishing sand under the molding or emblem. Pull the thread as if filing the element being separated from the body to break the adhesive bond (see Fig. 25.1).

2. Use methyl alcohol to thoroughly clean any remaining adhesive from the body panel.

Installation

3. Peel off the protective paper from the back of the new emblem or molding. Carefully install the adhesive element on the panel, without touching the adhesive coating. To ensure reliable adhesion, briefly press the molding or emblem to the panel.
