You will need: socket head «at 15» …

…special wrench for brake lines «at 14», wrench for wheel nuts, container for draining brake fluid.

1. Remove the wheel from the side of the caliper to be replaced.

2. Loosen the lower end of the brake hose.

3. Turn out two bolts of fastening of directing blocks to a rotary fist..

4.... and disconnect the caliper from the knuckle.

5. Disconnect the caliper from the brake hose by unscrewing it from the hose end..

USEFUL ADVICE: Substitute a container to drain the rest of the brake fluid from the hose and the working cylinder of the caliper.

6.... and remove the caliper assembly from the shoe guide.

7. Install the caliper in the reverse order of removal. Apply an anaerobic threadlocker to the threads before installing the shoe guide to steering knuckle bolts. Tighten the tip of the brake hose completely until the caliper is installed on the steering knuckle. When installing the caliper, make sure that the hose is not twisted. After installation, restore the level of brake fluid in the reservoir of the main brake cylinder and bleed the air from the brake hydraulic drive (cm. «Bleeding the hydraulic drive of the brake system»).
