Fastening the air cleaner cover on an engine with a fuel injection system

Caution! It is strictly forbidden to blow out the air filter with compressed air for reuse.
1. On a carburetor engine, disconnect the side clamps, unscrew the four screws, remove the air cleaner cover and take out the air cleaner, then thoroughly wipe the filter housing.
2. On a fuel injection engine and a turbocharged diesel engine, disconnect the air pipe and retaining clips, turn the cover aside and remove the air filter, then thoroughly wipe the filter housing.
3. On a DOHC engine, disconnect the wire from the idle air valve, unscrew the mounting nut and remove the crankcase ventilation hose, disconnect the retaining clamps, remove the cover and remove the filter element.
4. On a diesel engine, unscrew the four nuts securing the air filter cover, remove the cover and take out the filter element.
