Front seat cushion — disassembly and assembly (Focus 1)

Disassembly

1. Remove the cushion cover from the seat base.

• Detach the mounting strip.

2. Remove the curved rings.

NOTE: Mark the position of the anti-squeak mat.

Remove the cushion from the seat base.



4. Remove the pillow cover.

• 1. Roll the seat cover towards the center to access the curved rings.
• 2. Cut the curved rings.

Assembly

NOTE: Use bent ring pliers to close the bent rings. Do not use any other tools. It is required that the bent rings are closed with an overlap as shown in the picture.

To assemble, follow the disassembly procedure in reverse order.
