Rear seat back (split seat) (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Fold the rear seat cushion forward.

CAUTION: Make sure that the webbing retainer is installed at least 200 mm from the webbing stopper towards the seat belt retractor.

Install the seat belt webbing retainer.



3. Disconnect the center rear seat belt buckle.



4. Fold the rear seatback forward.

5. Remove the rear seatback (40/20 split seat shown).

• Remove the outer mounting screws.
• Remove the screw securing the central hinge.

Installation

CAUTION: Check that the center seat belt retractor mechanism is functioning properly.

Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
