Rear seat back — removal and installation (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Fold the rear seat cushion forward.

CAUTION: Make sure that the webbing retainer is installed at least 200 mm from the webbing stopper towards the seat belt retractor.

Install the seat belt webbing retainer.



3. Disconnect the center rear seat belt buckle.



4. Fold the rear seatback forward.

5. Remove the rear seat back.

• Remove the outer mounting bolts.
• Remove the bolt securing the central hinge locking plate.

Installation

CAUTION: Check that the center seat belt retractor mechanism is functioning properly.

To install, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
