Rear Seat Back Latch (3-Door/5-Door/Wagon) (Focus 1)

Removal

1. Disassemble the rear seatback. For more information, refer to the Rear Seatback chapter in this section.

NOTE: To facilitate installation, mark the position of the seatback latch cable on the seat belt retractor mechanism.

Disconnect the seatback latch cable from the seat belt retractor mechanism.



3. Remove the rear seat back latch.

Installation

1.

CAUTION: Check the seatback latch cable routing, seat belt retractor mechanism, and locking mechanism operation before completely reassembling the rear seatback.

To install, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
