Replacing the rear door opening limiter (Mondeo 4)

You will need: a 13 mm wrench and a 10 mm socket head.

The rear door opening limiter mechanism is installed in the upper door hinge.

To replace it, follow these steps.



1. Unscrew and remove the bolt-axis B of the upper door hinge, then unscrew the two bolts A securing the upper hinge to the door and remove it.

2. Install the new upper door hinge in the reverse order of removal.
