Removing and installing the rear seat back (Mondeo 1)

Removal

Unlock the rear seat back and tilt it forward.



If equipped, remove the rear seatback trim.



Remove the four T40 mounting screws on the hinges (on each backrest).

Remove the rear seat back.

Installation

Install and secure the seat back.

Set the backrest to a vertical position and check that it is locked. If necessary, adjust the position of the backrest or hinges so that the backrest is firmly locked.

If equipped, install the rear seat back trim.
