Removing and installing the rear seat (Mondeo 1)

Removal

Pull up on the right and left edges of the seat to disengage them from the plastic holders.

Check if the seat is disengaged from the three hooks on the floor of the vehicle, otherwise press the seat back hard and disengage it from the hooks.

Thread the center seat belt and side seat belt buckles through the slots and remove the rear seat.

Installation

If the plastic holders were removed from the holes in the body floor during removal, then detach the holders from the hooks of the rear seat and press them into the holes.

Thread the center seat belt and side belt buckles through the slots in the rear seat.

Press firmly on the seat, directing it under the seat back, then pull the seat forward, thus hooking it onto the floor hooks.

Guide the front hooks of the seat into the plastic holders of the floor. Press the seat down firmly and thus fix it in the holders.
