You will need: TORX T40 key, flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Remove the two bolts (the outer bolt is shown, the second bolt is not visible in the photo, it is located closer to the center of the car) securing the rear seat cushion..

2. …and remove the rear seat cushion from the vehicle interior.

3. Fold the rear seat back forward, turn the outer hinge lock with a screwdriver…

4. …and disconnect the hinge from the bracket.

5. Remove the inner hinge pin from the bracket and remove the rear seat back.

6. To remove the rear seat back lock latch, remove the center side trim (see "Removing and installing trunk trim") and unscrew the two screws securing the latch to the body.
7. Install the rear seat and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
