1. Turn the lock on the mirror support with your finger…
2. …and remove the mirror by sliding it up from the bracket along the glass.
3. Install the interior mirror in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: The interior rearview mirror mounting bracket is glued to the glass with a special adhesive. If for any reason it becomes detached from the glass, it can be glued back in place (see "Replacing fixed body glazing").
