1. Use a screwdriver to press the lock on the mirror bracket…
Note: This is how the lock is located on the mirror bracket (shown on a removed mirror for clarity).
2. …move the mirror forward…
3. …and remove it from the car.
4. Install the interior mirror in the reverse order of removal.
Note: The interior rearview mirror mounting bracket is glued to the glass with a special adhesive. If for any reason it comes off the glass, it can be glued back in place (see "Replacement of fixed body glazing").
