Removal and installation steering column covers (Fusion)

You will need a TORX T25 key.



1. Press the two latches…



2. …and remove the upper steering column cover.

Note: Steering wheel removed for clarity.

3. Using a screwdriver, pry up the retainer and remove the audio system remote control…



4. …and disconnect the wiring harness connector.





5. Remove the three mounting screws…



6. …and remove the lower steering column cover.

7. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
