2. Road dust, settling on the brushes, reduces the efficiency of the windshield wiper, so regularly wash the brushes with a mild soap solution.
3. During operation, bolts, nuts and fasteners may become loose - when checking the brushes, they must also be checked and, if necessary, tightened.
4. If the wiper blade is cracked, worn, deformed or does not clear dirt, replace it.
5. Move the wiper arm with the blade as far away from the glass as possible.
6. Release the latch on the lever, rotate the brush 90° and remove it from the end of the lever (see figure 6.6).

7. To remove the rear door wiper blade, pull the blade forward while pressing down on it (compressing the spring), and remove it from the end of the lever.
8. If the metal frame of the brush is in good condition, you can replace the rubber brush feather separately with a new one. Rubber wiper blades can be found at auto parts stores and can be cut to the required length if needed.
9. Install the brushes in reverse order, making sure they are securely held in place by the spring clip.
10. Make sure that all washer nozzles direct the fluid correctly - to the top of the windshield/rear window or headlight. If necessary, adjust the position of the small ball on the jet.
