Throttle Cable Adjustment (Ford Carburetor)

Throttle cable attachment

1. Disconnect the battery and remove the air filter.

2. Press the accelerator pedal to the stop and lock it in this position.

3. Set the adjusting nut to a position where the carburetor control is in the full fuel position.

4. Release and re-depress the accelerator pedal and check if there is play in the direction of increasing throttle opening. If there is play, repeat the adjustment.

5. Install the air filter and connect the battery.
