Weber Carburetor Idle Speed Adjustment

1. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.

2. Connect the exhaust gas analyzer and tachometer in accordance with the instructions for use.

3. Hold the speed at 3000 rpm for about 30 seconds, then release the accelerator pedal. Wait until the analyzer readings are set.

4. Check the engine idle speed. If necessary, adjust the engine speed using screw (1).

5. Read the CO concentration readings in the exhaust gases. If the CO concentration is low, remove the mixture adjustment screw cover (2) and adjust the CO concentration with this screw at idle speed of the engine.

6. Recheck the engine idle speed and adjust if necessary.
