Adjusting the float position of the Weber carburetor
A = 41±0.5 mm.
1. Disconnect the battery and remove the air filter.
2. Disconnect the fuel supply line from the carburetor.
3. Use a screwdriver to pry up the retainer and disconnect the throttle control rod from the throttle shaft lever.
4. Unscrew the six screws and remove the carburetor cover.
5. Install the carburetor cover vertically with the float pointing down.
6. Measure the distance from the bottom surface of the float to the cover plane without the gasket. It should be 41±0.5 mm. If necessary, adjust it by bending the plate on the top surface of the float.
7. Install the carburetor cover with a new gasket.
8. Connect the fuel supply line and the air damper control rod.
