Carburetor vacuum regulator



If the diaphragm is damaged, there is no air damper control.


If the diaphragm is damaged, there is no air damper control.

The work is performed on a carburetor removed from the engine.

Removal



1. Unscrew 4 screws and remove the vacuum regulator housing and spring.

2. Disconnect the diaphragm from the pusher and remove it.

Installation



1. Secure the diaphragm to the pusher, aligning the vacuum hole of the diaphragm with the channel in the carburetor.

2. Install the vacuum regulator housing with the spring and screw in the screws without tightening them.

3. Open the air damper and tighten the screws completely.

4. After installing the carburetor on the engine, adjust the idle speed and carbon monoxide (CO) content.
