Replacing the External Voltage Regulator (EVR) (Taurus 1 and 2)

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Locate the voltage regulator near the battery (see figure).



3. The regulator is easier to replace if you first remove the battery (see section 2).

4. Pull out the voltage regulator electrical connector.

5. Unscrew the regulator mounting bolts.

6. Disconnect the regulator.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
