Generator — removal and installation

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal.

2. Disconnect the generator electrical connector (this is if the car is equipped with an IAR type generator) and voltage regulator (see picture).





3. Loosen alternator adjustment and pivot bolts, disconnect drive belt (see chapter 1).

4. Remove adjusting and rotary bolts, separate the generator from the engine.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

6. After installing the generator, check the tension of the drive belts (see chapter 1).
